• RDC is awarded with long term partnership by Action Aid Nepal for implementing Right based Campaign in Bara.
• Among thirteen NGOs working in Bara for Poverty Alleviation Fund, RDC scored highest marks on overall evaluation criteria in 2013 A.D.
• RDC was given one surplus scheme to execute a WASH project for eighth batch. This was given on basis of its outstanding performance in seventh batch of RWSS-FDB's project.
• Among five partners of Fund Board in Bara, RDC is the only organization to implement WASH project also in Rautahat. RDC has successfully completed the Implementation Phase of the given project in three schemes of Rautahat district.

 The Rural Development Center (RDC) is a not-for-profit organization committed to excellence in sustainable community development. Since its inception in 1998, the RDC has gained a reputation as both a professional and humanist organization through its proven track record of development interventions. This well-deserved reputation is overwhelmingly attributed to the commitment of its exceptional members and staff.

Having felt liability towards the community, some people brought this organization into existance. RDC was legally registered in year 1998 and since then it is working for the upliftment of the people's overall status in its catchment area. The ruling body of this organization contains persions with social work intention and ability. They are well experienced, of good economic conditions- have some kind of income sources for their living.

RDC works with different partners from local community, govermental organizations, non-governmental organizations, INGOs and international donors. The focused intention for its all activites are to reduce poverty, ensure human rights and help rural and marginalised people live life with dignity. RDC's major right holders are people under poverty line according to HD-index, women, dalits and children. RDC is driven by concept to increase peoples ability to receive state's services and transform the community to a place where all people can survive a dignified life.
